Generally, I would think of them all in a blanket term of Miniatures games, but on a site dedicated to board gaming, this could lead to further confusion because board games use miniatures as well. Though I think it's pretty atypical for games that size to have solo rules I want to make the clarification. Regardless of 1=1 or model count or squads vs. SO try and Imagine that 40k or Bolt Action had official solo rules included I would include it in this list. Seems there is much debate on the definition of "miniature skirmish game."Īnother note is that when I wrote this I sort of used Skirmish as a catchall for all miniature wargames, I don't want to get bogged down on the definitions on the separation of the two but I always intended any games like this to be included in the list.
