Sure, Renton keeps crying and yelling at Eureka for no good reason the whole show, and Eureka is always afraid of being rejected, but both are kids and for one of them emotions are a new thing. Honestly, I just hate looking back trying to figure out whats was wrong, because every time I do I get annoyed by all the wrong things, like the way the Eureka and Renton are, or the way we got an explanation about Eureka. All I do know is that when watching 35th episode I was glad E7 is not a 2 cour show since I was enjoying it so much.
Like we get to see Eureka and Renton do nothing, and the next second we are in the midst of an information war, military is our friend now, villain’s plan is not the plan, and, what I think bothers be too much than it should, collars that nobody ever wondered about until episode 49 become a part of a plot twist out of nowhere. I think that the reason was the hole jumping from zero action underground to a whole lot of stuff in the outside world in the last 10-ish episodes. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey, but in the end something just doesn’t click. Definitely one of favorites now, and something I’d surely rewatch sometime soon.īut something just doesn’t feel right in the end. I was looking for a good adventure anime and E7 did not disappoint.
